Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge with 3,900 mAh Battery Set to Launch on May 13

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its sleek and ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone later this month. According to a report by 9To5Google, several key specifications of the device have surfaced online, revealing an impressive mix of design and performance features. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, just like other models in the Galaxy S25 series.

What to Expect from the Galaxy S25 Edge

The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to feature a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and responsive touch performance. For durability, the front and back panels are likely to be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, respectively. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is expected to be embedded under the display for seamless security.

Under the hood, the device is tipped to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. It is likely to be powered by a 3,900mAh battery and run One UI 7 based on Android 15.

On the camera front, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to borrow the 200MP main camera sensor from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is rumored to be a 12MP shooter, suitable for selfies and video calls.

Unveiled earlier at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, the smartphone boasts a remarkably slim 5.85mm profile and a lightweight body weighing just 163g. It is also expected to carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung may offer the device in three colour variants: Titanium Silver, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Jet Black.
